Groundwater
Groundwater is the water present beneath Earth’s surface in soil pore spaces and in the fractures of rock formations. A unit of rock or an unconsolidated deposit is called an aquifer when it can yield a usable quantity of water.

Sewage sludge
Sewage sludge is the residual, semi-solid material that is produced as a by-product during sewage treatment of industrial or municipal wastewater. The term “septage” also refers to sludge from simple wastewater treatment but is connected to simple on-site sanitation systems, such as septic tanks.

Inferior planet
In the Solar System, a planet is said to be inferior or interior with respect to another planet if its orbit lies inside the other planet’s orbit around the Sun. In this situation, the latter planet is said to be superior to the former.

Rotation
A rotation is a circular movement of an object around a center of rotation. A three-dimensional object can always be rotated about an infinite number of imaginary lines called rotation axes. If the axis passes through the body’s center of mass, the body is said to rotate upon itself, or spin.

Pluto
Pluto is an icy dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a ring of bodies beyond the orbit of Neptune. It was the first Kuiper belt object to be discovered and is the largest known dwarf planet. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 as the ninth planet from the Sun.

Astronomy
Astronomy is a natural science that studies celestial objects and phenomena. It uses mathematics, physics, and chemistry in order to explain their origin and evolution. Objects of interest include planets, moons, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and comets.

Centipedes
Centipedes are predatory arthropods belonging to the class Chilopoda of the subphylum Myriapoda, an arthropod group which also includes millipedes and other multi-legged creatures. Centipedes are elongated metameric creatures with one pair of legs per body segment.

Leeches
Leeches are segmented parasitic or predatory worms that belong to the phylum Annelida and comprise the subclass Hirudinea. They are closely related to the oligochaetes, which include the earthworms, and like them have soft, muscular, segmented bodies that can lengthen and contract.
